Potato Damage from Root Knot Nematode (Video) 

The damage caused by some potato nematodes isn’t always visible on the surface of the tuber. Gabby Studebaker, master’s student at Oregon State University College of Agricultural Sciences, shows us examples of potato damage from root-knot nematodes.  

In addition to reducing potato yield, northern root-knot and Columbia root-knot nematodes cause internal and external tuber defects that lower market value and may result in crop rejection.
